AIX Licensing Question

I've got an RS-6000 box running AIX 4.3.3 which was purchased used off
of E-bay.  I've been told by some people that the AIX license does not
transfer with the change in ownership and others that the license does
transfer with the change in ownership.  The IBM web site was useless in
resolving this issue as were some of the people that we talked to at
IBM.  Anyone out there know?
