[Seattle-SAGE] Perl programmer temporary position

Perl programmer position available in Miller Lab Bioinformatics Group in 
the UW Genome Sciences Department, Seattle WA.

A temporary position is available (full/part time) for an experienced 
Perl programmer to help with the design of a dynamic web interface to a 
PostgreSQL database.  The interface is used for genome analysis and 
display. The successful candidate has experience with DBI and CGI 
modules, and understands how to create and maintain complicated sql 
queries.  The candidate must also understand CSS.  Experience using 
ImageMagik graphics tools is also highly desired.  The best candidate 
will also be adept at modifying an existing code base and creating new 
functionality quickly by leveraging the existing data structures.

This position is a temporary assignment for 4 to 6 months, full or 
part-time, and the salary depends on experience.
