[Seattle-SAGE] Local enterprise storage vendors

We've had good luck with Datec from Tukwila. They have good
connections with the SE's for most of the major brands. We've had one
of the IBM SE's out quite a bit to help us tune our SAN and it's been
great to have him in tune with Datec's offerings. It was also cool
that they worked with IBM to get special pricing on the SAN and the
blade centers we have.

Datec, Inc
364 Upland Drive
Seattle, WA 98188
206-575-1470 or 800-525-9905

Cliff McElroy is the VP of Sales and he's really sharp. You can
contact him at cliffm at datecinc.net or visit the website at

We've also bought stuff from Optistore. The prices were good but the
service was pretty weak.

Good luck!

We've bought about 15 items from:

8030 SE 34th Place

Mercer Island, WA 98040

Phone: (206) 841-2058

Email: info at sanexpert.net

Over the last 3 years.

They have been relatively responsive

and have technical people who will

make house calls to get you set up,

even though their web site is pretty lame.

Just wondering who people use locally for enterprise storage vendors. I

am looking for a vendor that has a local office with technical folks in

it (not just sales folks). Has anyone had experience with any of the

Northland Technology Inc

Integrated Archive Solutions

or ???
