Job Description
RealNetworks is looking for a system administrator to join the
Internet Services Operations team responsible for maintaining a
large and growing mission-critical server environment. The
individual must be motivated, highly technical, and posses a deep
knowledge of UNIX system administration in general, and Linux system
administration in particular. Responsibilities include 24x7 support
of server hardware and software, development and maintenance of
tools to manage systems and services, performance monitoring, new
server deployment and configuration, system architecture, and
procedure documentation. Excellent written and oral communication
skills are required, as well as good inter-personal skills and the

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum: •In-depth knowledge of
one or more modern Linux distributions (Red Hat/Centos preferred)

monitoring, and maintaining Apache web servers •Working knowledge of
