The Puget Sound Storage Networking User Group (PS-SNUG) would like to invite
you and your colleagues at SAGE to their meeting on Thursday, March 16,
featuring an "Interop Town Hall." This open discussion will primarily focus
on issues related to storage system interoperability. There will also be
time for open Q&A with our facilitators and your fellow SNUG participants,
so bring your storage issues with you. There is no charge to attend and
refreshments will be served. Please feel free to pass this on to your
colleagues.

ABSTRACT:
Just exactly what does storage system interoperability mean? Is it a
management issue? An operational issue? Both? What problems confound you
with the deployment of heterogeneous storage solutions? And what can the
industry do to address these problems? Please be prepared to share your own
views and issues with regard to this important topic, and to join others in
exploring the present-day solutions. This discussion, and many others like
it, will help the SNIA End User Council and all storage users to better
understand what interoperability challenges you are facing in your storage
infrastructure, and to communicate these challenges to storage system
manufacturers.
