  I just happen to have done some research on serial console servers recently. Here are the items that made my short list based on feature-set and price. I was looking for serial output buffering, the ability to access multiple ports simultaneously, network access with ssh, OOB, and a rack-mount profile. Prices are from CDW where CDW provides them, otherwise they're from the vendor directly. I'm sure you can get most of these items cheaper from other sources. Hopefully this will help kick-start your search.
