I know he's incredibly shy and might have a hard time plugging his outfit
on the list, but let me confide to you that Art Mann at Silicon Mechanics
has sold me, among a number of other less glamorous, noisier rack-mount
stuff, a very fine dual-dual Opteron workstation. They don't list them
formally on their site, I don't think, perhaps because customers (like me)
insist on customizing. Mine has the SuperMicro H8DCi mobo and is housed
in a Lian-Li PC-V1200 which Art sourced at my request (I haven't found a
case yet that is easier to pop open and the whole rig is very quiet).

Anyhow, I've been very super happy with their boxes and with the
response I've gotten in the few cases where we've needed post-sales

If we succeed in hiring a new sysadmin, I hope Art will consent to sell me
another box just like this one.

Oh, yeah, I should say on the list that I have a position opening for an
eclectic (meaning you get to do things like help people figure out why
their Thunderbird ain't working!) sysadmin. The position is req # 30994 on
UW Employment:

Smart, well-adjusted, Unix/Linux-skilled folks with a sense of humor who
enjoy working to build and support systems that keep all sorts of
customers (be they running Windows, Macs, or Linux) happy are encouraged
to apply.
