We're moving into an apartment and I need to reduce the number of
computers I have. So, I must reluctantly sell my HP Kayak workstation.

These HP Computers were originally sold to CERN for use as Linux
workstations. I remember seeing photos of hundreds, if not thousands, of
them in racks in a computer room. Of course, the workstation will also
run Windows.

This is a high performance workstation. It is all SCSI, except for the
floppy drive, and with the dual XEON processors and fast SCSI drives, it
really screams.

What is included:

HP KAYAK XU Workstation
Dual (2) Pentium III XEON 550MHz processors
684MB ECC memory (expandable)
18GB Seagate Barracuda HD - ST318203LW
9GB Seagate Barracuda HD - ST39102LW
ASUS AGP-V7700 Ultra V6.49 video card
Plextor Plexwriter 12/10/32S CD writer
Adaptec AIC-7880 PCI SCSI Controller
Symbios Logic 875XS/D 2280X PCI SCSI Adapter
On-Board RAID adapter
HP ShureStore DAT24 Tape unit
ZIP Drive
HP Keyboard
No mouse

also in the package

Mitsubishi DiamondPro 1010e 20" Monitor (1880x1440 resolution)
HP ScanJet 6200C Scanner (SCSI)
28 DAT tapes
3 DAT Cleaning Tapes
4 ZIP disks
Manuals, cables, software, etc.

This is an excellent buy and would make a very good Linux (or Windows)
workstation for anyone.

Asking $250 to a good home.

Thanks for reading.
