I have a HP Proliant DL140 G3 that continually has System Error Log
messages that keeps system from booting automatcially

The boot messages say:

Event Log messages, enter Setup to view
Server Asset Text :No Asset Tag
    ERROR
02A2: BMC System Error Log (SEL) Full.

I pressed F1 to resume and it will then boot.

I googled that error and searched the HP site and it said to "Clear
the SEL." And it also mentioned using a newer BIOS, but didn't say what
version and the versions I found where older than my system's BIOS (I
think).

The system has a IPMI console available via http which I can login and see
these many event logs and I clear them and then it will reboot. Here are
examples:

Generic 10/12/2007 19:08:48 AMB Temp Upper Non-critical-going high
 Assertion

Generic 10/12/2007 19:08:49 AMB Temp Upper Non-critical-going high
 Deassertion

I read the the ambient room temperature must not exceed 95 F (from HP
ProLiant DL140 Server Setup and Installation Guide).

I am not sure why our other servers in same rack and same colo aren't
having problems and I don't know why I have to manually deal with this
sometimes multiple times per day.

Anyone know about this?
