Subject: Windows PowerShell
Presenter: Scott McDermott

Windows PowerShell (formerly known as Monad) is a .NET based command
line/scripting environment for Windows servers. If you like the
iterative development process of a shell with a pipeline, haven't wanted
to learn VB Script, or are just plain tired of WMI, PowerShell can help
(mostly). This talk will be an introduction to the technology and show
how it can be used to solve real world problems.web services without
diving into code will be discussed to assist administrators in making a
more secure network.

-----

Scott McDermott has been a system administrator for 14 years. Most of
his career has been spent managing Unix servers. The last several years
he has been managing an increasing number of Windows servers, and
wishing for something like PowerShell to simplify their management. He
is a photographer in his spare time and also enjoys plane spotting with
his wife and two children.
