[SASAG] Any data recovery place? any estimate?

Hello,

One of my hard disks in my personal pc died.
SATA hard disk
OS : Windows.

Symptom : When I booted this machine, BIOS says that there is no hard 
disk connected.
It creates grinding sound.

I got an estimate for 1300-2400 from a local store. It needs to be sent 
to California to be rescued. requires a clean room.

Any advice would be appreciated.
