[SASAG] Host and VM communication

The fact that this is unique behavior for this host seems to indicate some kind of collision between two systems attempting to use the same hardware address.

I know you've already said the mac addresses were verified correct, but... 

You might double check that the mac addresses are different between the two systems...

Also, is it possible that you're running another VM on the host with the same mac addr?

Another possibility is that the mac addr has been bound to another interface on the machine?
