Subject: Email Migration Tips and Tricks
Presenter: Ski Kacoroski
This talk covers the lessons learned while migrating 2500 users to a new
email server for the Northshore School District (NSD). Email server
migration consists of data and process inventory and clean up, selecting
the new email server, initial data migration, running a pilot test,
final data migration, and post migration tasks. This presentation will
cover these aspects, what worked and did not work, and what should have
been done differently to make the migration run smoother using examples
from migrating the email server at NSD.
