These job descriptions are terrible because they are written by the
parent company. We still operate a lot like a startup with the funding
and stability of a multinational. Last week the directors announced,
open for discussion, the objective of reorganizing from a monolithic
application stack to "microservices" (using Spotify as the example)
and we could use some people who understand what that means and can
help us move in that direction.
