[SASAG] Solar Discussion

At the meeting last night there was a discussion about solar panels. 
Right now is a good time to consider them because the production credit 
from the state runs out in mid-2020.  This means if you get panels now, 
they will pay (or almost pay) for themselves by 2020.  If you wait, it 
will take much, much longer.  The credits/income you can get are:

* no sales tax
* 30% federal tax credit
* reduced power bill
* $0.54/KWh produced until mid-2020 if equipment made in WA state

I used http://www.a-rsolar.com/ for the array I put on in Jan.  In my 
particular case, I had to put on a new roof also, but the income/credits 
will cover the cost of the loan and interest within 6 years so for me 
all I had to do was find the cash flow for the loan payments for 5 years.
