SASAG organizer, Board Member, LOPSA Board Member, and generally all
around awesome guy, Brian is moving away from Seattle. He will be missed!
Let's give him a nice send-off at this month's SASAG.

GOOD NEWS - we've got a real live speaker, lined up for Terraform in a
future month!

======= Tentatively =========

I'm also curious about ELK Stack (which I've used a bit), so let's learn
about it together. Not everyone can get purchase approval for Splunk!

If you know of a better video than the one below, let me know - there are
several on Lynda.com alone, and about a hojillion on Youtube. My primary
complaints are:

* Windows (and Mac on the one below) installs covered - I prefer Linux.
* Only standalone dev installs covered - a proper enterprise-grade
clustered install is not
* They seem oriented towards end users of the stack, whereas we're likely
to be building & maintaining enterprise installs over time (ie: component
upgrades can be gnarly I've heard)
* The use cases they cover aren't oriented towards us - specifically
system log analysis, rather than application log or data set (Netflix
videos?) analysis
